How Online Personal Training Works

Online personal training gives you access to expert coaching, wherever you’re based. I provide fully personalised training and nutrition plans, alongside optional one-to-one coaching sessions over zoom, so you can build strength, lose fat, and improve fitness without being tied to a location.

After an initial consultation to discuss your training history, goals, lifestyle, and any injury considerations, I carry out a detailed movement assessment and posture screening, using advanced motion capture technology. This allows me to identify movement restrictions and muscle imbalances, so your program and personalised workouts are tailored with a high level of precision rather than guesswork.

Your plan is then built around these findings, as well as the equipment and space you have available, making it practical, realistic, and easy to follow wherever you train. You can start with a FREE remote posture assessment and decide later if you want more support.

Who Online Coaching Is Best For

Online fitness coaching works especially well if you travel, have a busy schedule, or prefer training independently while still having professional guidance and accountability. Many clients also combine online training with occasional in-person, personal training in London for added support and structure.

Richard has studied under the world-renowned health expert Paul Chek, which has given him the skills to identify which specific types of nutrition and exercises are helpful for you and which ones are not. 

In terms of nutrition guidance that helps to support your health, it is believed that we are all best suited to predominantly be, 1 of 3 types of eaters:

  • Protein Type

  • Carb Type

  • Mixed Type

Eating right for your metabolic type means, you could have less illness, less stomach problems, better sleep and have more focus.

In addition, the questionnaires will estimate both the level and types of stress you may be under. For example, physical stress or nutritional stress are just two of six types of stress we would look at. Understanding in greater detail, which specific areas might be stressing your body, allows us to better target our remedial efforts.

These results, on top of every other assessment listed, would then help dictate our training and the nutrition plan we put into place, if you chose online training with Richard.

Training remotely means you can access your personalised exercise & nutrition plan, tailored to your goals, as well as incorporate one-to-one zoom personal training sessions, from anywhere in the world.

After an initial phone consultation, discussing your exercise history, health targets and any injury considerations, we would go to work designing a program that best suits your needs, whilst accounting for the facilities that are available to you.

You can also switch between online coaching and face to face personal training, as this is something that works well for many clients.
